The reef line runs parallel with the Florida Keys archipelago. The average distance is only four miles off shore. The reef drops to an average depth of 60 to 90 feet. I use all sorts of fishing techniques while fishing the reef line and the wrecks. Reef fishing is a great option for the whole family or friends who want to get out on the ocean and catch dinner. You catch them, I clean them. Many local restaurants will cook your catch for you and do a superb job. Ask me for recommendations locally.

Also popular during season is night-time fishing for tarpon. From March through October, anglers can observe a feeding frenzy in these waters. For a few hours after the sun goes down, a magical event unfolds with the turn of the tide. Large flushes of crabs, shrimp and glass minnows are on the move making a bounty for foraging tarpon. Depending on conditions, we utilize the Pathfinder bay boat on calm days, or our bigger offshore boat the Renaissance Prowler Cat.
The engineered 24' catamaran hull of the Prowler provides a stable fishing platform capable of taming the nastiest head sea. The dual Suzuki outboards spaced wide allow for plenty of room to fish from the stern. The Prowler also has new electronics including Simrad displays, Simrad 4G radar, autopilot and SIRIUS weather. With outriggers we can troll for offshore species in the Gulf Stream.
